I am a very big fan of 24. It is a fantastic series. I didn't really like the torture and after eight seasons, you felt like you had heard it a couple of times when Jack Bauer aka Kiefer Sutherland said "We are running out of time", but still - I just loved every season of 24.
That is why I was so happy to see that you can now stream all the seasons of 24 on Netflix. I don't think I will watch them over again, even though it would be great to do so, but I am not really the kind of guy who would watch a TV series once again. It is one thing to watch a movie lasting for 2 hours over again, but watching a TV series with 9 seasons and 24 episodes in each season (all lasting 40 minutes), that is out of the question.
A friend of mine just told me how he had watched Big Bang Theory (all seasons) a couple of times. Even that is way too much to me. A joke is nice once, but watching it twice just sounds like too much to me.

24 isn't for those with a faint heart!
24 is kind of brutal. You will often see torture in different ways, sometimes when the bad guys use a chainsaw in order to force a member of the CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) to give away information useful to the terrorist, and then at other times when the good guys need an answer quickly in order to stop a terrorist act from happening. They are always in a hurry, and that is what makes this so intensive, and utterly enjoyable!
