'Important Update'

Don't worry, there's no pitch lol And this really is a very important update on a few fronts.

Nothing bad, just good news :)

INDEX Has Purchased It's First GFL on Splinterlands

After last week's post, the overwhelming opinion was that we needed to dive into building assets inside of #Splinterlands and start receiving rental income from them.

So we pulled the trigger and grabbed this bad boy:

We purchased Djinn Oshannus for $510 or around 45,000 DEC at the time of purchase.

He's already gone up in price to $570 but hey, who knows where this card might end up.

The real benefit to INDEX holders is the DEC he's already generating.

We're now renting the card and so far, he's been fetching 100 DEC a day on the market. A little lower than the lowest asking price, but we thought it would be much more important to keep him rented, instead of trying to nickel and dime the market.

And the DEC has already started to go into your pockets from this rental.

We are of course proposing to add more assets to INDEX's holdings, to give you guys are much DEC and returns as possible.

@dagger212 made a great recommendation of looking into PLOT as a potential asset to acquire, and we're thinking of doing both.

Short term, look into heavily valued cards that rent for maximum APR, and then PLOT for future potential.

Changes To The 'Official Blog' For CTP

Up until now, we've been using this account (@clicktrackprofit) for pretty much everything...

It's our official news blog, it holds all of our updates, our delegation tool for both Hive Power and CTP Power and...Our witness servers.

And to be on the safe side of things, we think it would be best to separate the witness server from pretty much everything else.

Now changing witness servers would be a massive headache, so we thought we would create a brand new account to use for:

Official CTP, Hive Pay and Index token news
Delegation for CTP Power and potentially Hive Power (depending on if we power down CTP account and do the transfer or not)

That would allow this account (@clicktrackprofit) to remain as the witness server on both Hive Engine and Hive without missing a beat.

It would help us manage the witness server as it wouldn't be used for anything other than, the witness.

The new account will be pretty easy to remember...

We'll begin the switching of all delegation so there may be a few days (if not weeks) of certain delegations being switched around or powered down.

But rest assured, this is just to get this new account set up.
