It can symbolize news and messages arriving in writing.
Well, this week I had TWO messages that arrived in email, which I suppose counts as "writing" to some extent. Each message was a testimonial, and each like a golden coin dropping unexpectedly into my lap.
Testimonial 1
The first testimonial came from somebody who subscribed to my "Leadsleap Training Videos" email series a few months ago.
He has sent me quite a bit of positive feedback, but I had not heard from him for a while.
Then, on 13th November I noticed this subject line in my email inbox:
Gratitude for Your Leadsleap Videos and Exciting News!
The "exciting news" was that my subscriber had made his first ever sale ($42), and I was touched to read his opinion that,
This achievement wouldn't have been possible without your informative and motivating content.
Here is the body of the email:
Well, that was quite a feather in my cap...
Which reminds me.
The Morgan Greer version of the Two of Pentacles depicts a bloke juggling coins with TWO FEATHERS in his cap. Here's a photo of the card from my well thumbed deck:
That is most appropriate as I was able to add another feather to my cap a few days later! (I might need to get a bigger cap, as my noddle seems to be swelling.)
Testimonial 2
This week I have been helping one of my active referrals set up a marketing funnel to promote his offers on an advertising site that he joined via my affilate link.
I've enjoyed the process very much as he is an action taker who is willing to learn and apply what I teach him (which is not always the case, I can assure you).
He followed my recommendations to the letter and joined and upgraded in the programs I recommended, including Leadsleap, the platform on which I build my marketing funnels.
That enabled me to create a complete marketing funnel for him, and to create a series of Pro ads on Leadsleap, as well as post ads on another ad platform for him.
A day later, I got a message from the ad platform informing me that I'd earned a "matrix commission" because someone in my downline had made a sale.
Shortly thereafter, my referral sent me this message as part of a longer email:
Honestly , David , I thank you for my first earnings in online marketing. I have not earned anything for the past 2 years. Lol. Thanks once again.
Later, he sent me this testimonial email:
Since then, by the way, he has also earned a THIRD commission, this one from one of his new referrals in Leadsleap - and I have just finished setting up the same marketing funnel for my referral's referral!
So there's the second feather in my "Two of Pentacles" cap!
Is that my ship I see, coming in on the horizon?
