Early morning is not normally a time I like to be awake. But apparently I should, because sometimes nature has so much to offer at this time of day. When the light appears slowly and bathes the sky in magical colours thanks to the help of Sahara dust – almost like a painting.
This is my entry for The Friendlymoose Photocontest #FPC with this weeks topic "PLAYING WITH LIGHT". (Go, join it!)
The sun sends its first rays over the horizon but the houses still hide them. They only paint the clouds. A few birds can be heard and the noise of the city is almost inaudible. I love these quiet moments, the calm before the storm of the day.
A little later, the light develops its full power. Normally impossible to photograph with my phone camera but thanks to the Sahara dust and irresistible motif, I call it the Desert Sun.

I have intensified the colours of the photos a little to reflect my personal impression realistically.
The view was breathtaking for me and I hope I was able to give you a moment of peace with that post. Thank you for reading and watching. See you next time.
All photos are taken with a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra camera by me,
@cryptozeug, unless otherwise stated. Polished with Affinity Photo, or not.
