I have known this angle for a long time, but I remembered it again only recently. About three years ago I was photographing the courtyards here at night and captured a view of St. Sophia Cathedral from this point. It was also surprising to me that it was visible from there.
And here it is again the question is, from what new point to photograph the moonrises or moonsets.
As I already said, in Vologda you can't go crazy with angles for shooting the moon.

Here I was walking along the river and taking pictures of different views (I decided to remember the winter shooting and go a little further).
And having reached up to this point, I realized that this view was familiar to me, it was just that at that time there were no plans to build the Nekrasovsky Bridge.
And now physically there is a bridge and when it is put into operation, I already have an ace up my sleeve - a point of shooting this bridge with the Vologda Kremlin.

And as a test, I captured the setting of the Deer Moon over these objects.
I had to wait almost two hours until the moon reaches the desired position.
I was worried that the clouds would interfere with the haze, or that the moonset line would not coincide with the churches, but everything went according to plan!
