Among the main ports of the Cantabrian Sea, Santoña, with its facilities and its media-friendly marshes, teeming with a joyful diversity of biological species—marine, aerial, and terrestrial—remains one of those places in northern Spain that is recommended to be visited at least once in a lifetime. Especially knowing that, aside from that battered fleet that for centuries exploited the quality of anchovies as a gourmet product, it is also located in an environment that is not only privileged but also very conducive to lovers of the different paths that lead to Santiago or the heart of Liébana, and for those who, even in these times that seem to leave the spectacular anticipatory novels of authors like Clarke or Asimov as mere anecdotes, continue to be fascinated by the mystery of sacred architecture, where, over the centuries, one can appreciate the evolution of something as fascinating as, without a doubt, sacred architecture.
Dentro de los principales puertos del Cantábrico, Santoña, con sus instalaciones y sus mediáticas marismas, repletas de una feliz diversidad de especies biológicas, tanto marinas, como aéreas y terrestres, continúa siendo uno de esos lugares del norte de España, cuya visita se recomienda, al menos una vez en la vida. Sobre todo, sabiendo, que, aparte de esa maltrecha flota que durante siglos aprovechó la calidad de la anchoa como producto para buenos gourmets, está situada también en un entorno, no sólo privilegiado, sino muy propicio para los amantes de los diferentes caminos que llevan a Santiago o al corazón de la Liébana y para aquellos otros, que, aun en estos tiempos que parecen que dejan en simples anécdotas las espectaculares novelas de anticipación de autores como Clarke o Asimov, continúan estando fascinados por el misterio de unas arquitecturas sagradas, donde, a través de los siglos, se puede apreciar la evolución de algo tan fascinante, como es, sin duda alguna, la arquitectura sagrada.
