Returning to this late, late posting schedule, I’m back to share new photography tonight after discipling myself to finish up another around of edits of reality TV start, Emily. You guessed it. @caffetto was my sanctuary for the night. I’ve been spending a lot of time with @guthrie lately. His social group at school has been changing and he’s pulled back a bit. In true Cancer fashion, that’s manifesting itself in need more family time than usual and I’m happy to oblige. The rest of the evening was creative calls on @mirrorpool projects and these new dark pinup edits.
So, let’s see them! I’ve been sharing photos of Emily for the last couple of weeks. New shoots are always exciting to return to when deciding what to edit, but it’s also because the volume of edit worthy photos is so ridiculously high with her. Every time I scan through this shoot, there are more images I can’t ignore. You should check her out. Emily has a massive Instagram following and she recently starred in season two of Reality House! She’s a boss, and an incredible model. Also, a total sweetheart.
I booked a really high end PeerSpace location for this shoot. I always live close to the wallet on these trips. I have to save where and when I can to justify all the expenses of traveling, but this shoot was so important, I dropped a pretty large amount on a location that would meet the moment. Emily and I have talked about this shoot for ages and with two years of isolation, more or less, it was finally going to happen. I didn’t want to cut any corners. In hindsight, I’m so glad I went big.
There are going to be more images with Emily, for sure. Just going through the shoot again tonight, I found another half dozen that I’m dying to edit. It’s already 2:00a.m. here in Minneapolis, but I need to start the winding down process so that I can actually sleep. These long productive days are what I live for, but I tend to wind myself up in to a manic state that needs its own ritual for an offramp. I hope the rest of you sleep well, have a good day and all enjoy the new work with Emily.
