Splinterlands is charging 2000 DEC for playing in wild format of its game. Wild format allows all sorts of cards in game while Modern format allows only newer sets of cards. One can get just 15-20 SPS during a season which commonly last for 15 days. Value of one SPS is just $0.009. So, you can calculate yourself.
