Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algo que me hace mucha ilusión: mi versión de "Nadie me va a dominar", una canción que forma parte de la banda sonora de la película Spirit: El corcel indomable.
Desde que vi la película por primera vez, esta canción me marcó. Tiene una fuerza y un mensaje que van más allá de la historia del caballo salvaje; habla de libertad, de no rendirse, de mantener el espíritu intacto a pesar de las dificultades. Esa idea siempre me ha inspirado y, esta vez, quise llevarla a mi propio terreno musical.
Grabé este cover con guitarra eléctrica y voz, buscando un equilibrio entre la intensidad del mensaje y un sonido que se sintiera cercano. Usé un tono de guitarra con un overdrive suave, lo suficiente para darle garra sin que la distorsión se lleve por delante la voz. Quería que la interpretación vocal fuera directa, casi como si estuviera cantándole a alguien frente a frente, con honestidad y sin artificios.
No lo grabé en un gran estudio; fue en mi propio espacio, con el equipo que tengo a mano, cuidando cada detalle para que el resultado sonara auténtico. Creo que eso le da un toque más íntimo y real.
Para mí, esta canción no es solo parte de una película que marcó mi infancia, sino un recordatorio constante de que, pase lo que pase, nadie debe arrebatarnos nuestra esencia ni nuestra libertad.

Today I want to share something I’m really excited about: my version of "Nadie Me Va a Dominar" (“Nothing’s Gonna Break Me”), a song from the soundtrack of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
Ever since I first saw the movie, this song left a deep mark on me. It carries a strength and a message that go beyond the story of the wild horse—it’s about freedom, resilience, and holding on to your spirit no matter what. That idea has always inspired me, and this time, I wanted to bring it into my own musical space.
I recorded this cover with electric guitar and vocals, aiming for a balance between the intensity of the message and a sound that feels close and personal. I went for a soft overdrive tone—enough to give the guitar some grit without drowning out the voice. I wanted the vocals to be direct, almost as if I were singing face-to-face with someone, with honesty and no unnecessary polish.
It wasn’t recorded in a big studio; I did it in my own space, using the gear I have on hand, paying attention to every detail so it would sound authentic. I think that makes it feel more intimate and real.
For me, this song is not just part of a film that marked my childhood—it’s a constant reminder that, no matter what happens, no one should ever take away our essence or our freedom.
