Greetings beloved Hive Music Festival Community Members, I am so delighted to come again with a new entry for Week 147, Round 3 of our weekly contest. This week, I made a promise to myself that as long as I’m healthy and strong, I will try my possible best to stay fully engaged every day on the Hive platform no matter what happens. Yesterday was quite tied up for me, and while I was just reminiscing about which song to sing, I came across this powerful track on my playlist: “When God Walks In” by Dunsin Oyekan. I said, “Wow! The search is over.” This is the perfect song for the week!
I chose this song because I have seen the move of God in my life this new month which also happens to be my birthday month. 9th of August is my special day, and I’m super excited and trusting God for more grace to serve Him and humanity at large.
The song When God Walks In is an amazing worship piece. It reminds me of when I was in elementary and tertiary school, when the teacher or lecturer hadn’t arrived yet, the class would be noisy and disorderly. But the moment they walked in, the whole atmosphere would change. Everyone would come back to their senses and behave. That’s exactly how God steps in, but on a sacred level.
Everything changes when you spend time with God in worship and communion, and He walks in. The atmosphere shifts. The story turns around. People will say, “Is this not the same guy who was suffering?” or “Is that not the woman with the issue of blood?” But look at her now, she is healed, free, and transformed.
When God walks in, what didn’t make sense before starts making perfect sense. What people thought was dead begins to live again. No matter what you're going through, just call on God to walk in, and soon, it will only be a story. Thank you for taking your precious time to read my post. Please do well to comment and reblog. Remain blessed, amazing family.
