Siempre he sentido una gran admiración por su obra, y Another Star es una de sus canciones que más me han marcado. Tiene una energía vibrante, un groove espectacular y una instrumentación llena de vida.
Decidí trabajar este cover con mucho detalle, grabando las pistas por separado en BandLab. Fui agregando diferentes somatizaciones en la voz para jugar con las dinámicas y darle más emoción a la interpretación. También sumé algunos detalles en el piano y otros elementos que ayudaran a enriquecer la canción. Quería respetar la esencia del tema original, pero también explorar mi propio estilo dentro de él.
Cantar una canción de Stevie Wonder es todo un reto. Su rango vocal, su control, su capacidad para jugar con las melodías y los matices… todo es impresionante. Me encantaría poder cantar sus temas con más soltura y precisión, porque siento que todavía tengo mucho por mejorar en cuanto a técnica y expresividad. Sin embargo, estoy muy contento con este resultado. Siento que cada vez avanzo un poco más y me voy sintiendo más cómodo interpretando canciones de este nivel.

Stevie Wonder is one of those artists who seem untouchable. His voice, his way of interpreting music, his musicality—everything about him is unique and magical. I have always felt deep admiration for his work, and Another Star is one of the songs that has impacted me the most. It has a vibrant energy, an incredible groove, and an instrumentation full of life.
I decided to approach this cover with great attention to detail, recording each track separately in BandLab. I experimented with different vocal somatizations to play with dynamics and bring more emotion to the interpretation. I also added some piano details and other elements to enrich the song. My goal was to respect the essence of the original track while also exploring my own style within it.
Singing a Stevie Wonder song is a real challenge. His vocal range, his control, his ability to play with melodies and nuances—everything is simply outstanding. I would love to sing his songs with more fluidity and precision because I feel that I still have a lot to improve in terms of technique and expressiveness. However, I am very proud of this result. I feel like I’m progressing little by little and becoming more comfortable interpreting songs of this level.
This cover is my way of paying tribute to an artist who has shaped music history and continues to be a huge inspiration for me. I know I still have a long way to go, but I enjoy every step, every recording, and every lesson learned.
