As promised, I made a few new cyanotype tests in my Brownies. This time I aimed my cameras almost directly at the sun to get a silhouette of a tree against the rising sun.
I'm primarily trying to decide which camera to use for film. Unfortunately the clearest image comes out of the only camera without a film holder.
I set them out for 2 hours this time since they were facing the sun. I knew the direct uv would react better than indirect lighting.
Thanks to the f11 aperture even after 2 hours they were still quite underexposed. But wayyyy better than indirect lighting.
Two of them managed to catch the sun's track. Pretty cool to me. Now I have to take them somewhere to get a cooler silhouette than a tree. Of course I'll have to have two hours to watch them.
