To be used as plants to take leaves as veggies, not to take fruit, we usually only plant them easily by sticking stems in the yard.
In my yard, there are 3 types of cassava leaves, even with the same taste. Because of their different shapes, the people in the village make that shape as a value of beauty in the yard of the house.
The Original Cassava Leaves
The original form of cassava leaves, the leaves are bigger. The tree is also bigger than the other two types.
Curly Cassava Leaves
We call this type of curly cassava leaves because of the shape of the leaves which are like curly hair.
This type of curly cassava leaves is the cutest and most attractive shape to decorate your home.
Malaysian Cassava Leaves
This one we call Malaysian Cassava Leaves. Looks like papaya leaves.
It tastes if cooked is still the same as the original cassava leaves. No difference.
Cassava leaves that look like papaya leaves are popular because of their shape which resembles papaya leaves but the taste is not bitter like papaya leaves.
The three types of cassava leaves are delicious served with coconut milk sauce and variations of several spicy curries.
