The comment became large so I decided to copy and contunue it here as a post.
I'm always amazed why we fell
for Colgate.

Because of mis-education system brainwashing
Because of not being taught how to think critically
Because of not being taught how to feel feelings fully
Yet now many of us are beginning to awaken to truth and re-educate ourselves. We have responsibility now, for all apparent others in this play of life. If we choose to act (to Do) in this play, as opposed to just Be, then we must act care-fully.
Which brings me back to advertising, the subject of which was raised recently in a post https://peakd.com/hive/@yabapmatt/some-thoughts-on-the-future#@atma.love/re-yabapmatt-2020816t1345848z by @yabbapmatt.
If, or more likely when Hive front ends and Hive community front ends accept advertising, we must be very care-full which advertising to accept. For instance, would Natural Medicine community accept advertising from Johnson and Johnson, or Proctor and Gamble or whoever makes Colegae toothpaste, or toxic pharmaceuticals for example?. I think probably not. Yet who will make that decision? It needs to be made by a concencus of the community members, in my opinion.
Yet how to get a concencus without the visible and invisible violence which perpetrates all parts of society? Pure Democratic governance is the only way I think. Yet this does not currently exist. There is only apparent Democracy but it is forced and therefore not pure.
The Matrix-8 Solution in my opinion can solve many of these issues by offering an infinitely scalable framework, immutable on the blockchain, for multi-level real time deliberation and concencus. It will likely take a few brave souls (48 suggested by @chrisrice) to get behind the project (using the deliberation and concencus method of Matrix-8, initially in a few 8-PAC groups on probably Telegram) so a DApp can be built to enable The Matrix-8 Solution to be tried and tested in larger groups such as @naturalmedicine, @dbuzz, @deepdives etc.
This will be foundation building and ultimately evolutionary movement for Hive and Humanity.
I invite you brave souls to courageously step forward to help create a more truthful, loving and free humanity.

As some of you will know I have been attempting to attract interest in The Matrix-8 Solution for this purpose, with little success so far. I believe that this potential solution for governance could set Hive in the forefront for trust. Governance is key to all other use cases imo.

I think anonymous deliberation and voting plus Trusted Reputation are two key areas of good decentralised governance which are not in place with the Hive DPOS. Fred talks about these in his article. I also note that Vechain are working on an anonymous voting system for the same reasons.
Anyway, I encourage all to read the article linked to above AND to read about The Matrix-8 Solution (a multi-level, real time Pure Democrity) which I feel strongly addresses many of the issues mentioned and can make Hive a leading Blockchain and attract billions of users for the governance (and voting) system for worldwide use cases.
