There are some days that we can't stop jawning even with a long night of rest. Most of us will take coffee to be awakened, however, it's not the best solution and even makes things worse. Surely, it gives us full of energy at first then we have to pay the price when we depend on it too much.
Recently I've read some advice from #Rodalesorganiclife, there are some food and drinks that help you awake better than coffee following,
- Water
Obviously drinking enough water will definitely make your mind fresh and awaken your body. It's a natural medicine that is essential for everyone. When our body is lack of water, we feel like our brain is in a frog (sleepy mind) because the body doesn't have enough water to carry out normal functions.
The fact that we mostly have a shortage of water in the morning, so the above caution is understandable. Therefore, drinking a glass of water when we get up is never too much and better than leaving the body thirsty. If you find yourself sleepy or exhausted during the day, it's also a sign of dehydration, similar to that in the morning. Based on my experience, the solution for that is always to carry on a bottle of water so that I can drink whenever I feel thirsty.

- Apple Vinegar with Honey and Water
I have no idea why this recipe of drink can help us to be awakened, lol. This tip was advised by one of my friends when we talked about this topic. She said it's proven by many people used. So why not try? haha.
- Chia seeds
The nutritionist said that chia seeds are rich in Omega-3 (fat acids) which helps the brain-boosting and makes you feel more alert. Moreover, this tiny seed can absorb up to 10 times of weight in water which can speed up digestion while staying hydrated and keeping you awake.
Yummy smoothie bowl 😋 Personally, I haven't yet tried to make it by myself, however, many coffee shops in my town like Sense Coffee have this bowl with chia seeds inside. It's definitely a good option for breakfast.
- Green Veggetables
Kathy Stricker, a registered dietitian and certified nutritionist in Pennsylvania used to say "Eating fresh organic vegetables are the best way to increase energy levels" Because there is a lot of vitamins B which helps our body convert food into energy. And raw vegetables like salads are the best choice for your daily meal.
There are plenties of natural food and drinks which help us to wake up and recharge energy without taking coffee. I don't deny the benefits of coffee as I love it too, even drink too much sometimes. That's why I must stop my addiction by searching for other bsolutions and those food and drinks are what I have found in love with.
