Hello everyone! Today I would like to share some tips for growing pumpkin in a small space. My house, although it is located on the outskirts of the city has no land available for planting, so I have been forced to improvise an urban garden.
In these times when we can not leave home and we need to have a supply of vegetables is very important to have knowledge about urban agriculture, that is, to grow vegetables in small spaces and with use of kitchen waste.

This time it will be pumpkin seeds.
-The first thing to do is to remove all the seeds from a pumpkin. We wash them well and put them to dry in a cool, ventilated place without humidity.
-Once we let the seeds dry for 3 days, we proceed to sow them.
-We take a small container with holes in the bottom. I used the bottom of a 2 liter soda bottle, cut it and opened some small holes in the bottom to serve as drainage and put a layer of stones and then the compost.
-We compacted the soil well by hand or with the help of a gardening shovel. And we are going to put about 10 seeds (depending on the size of our seed germinator) and cover with a thin layer of soil.
-I made a small sign with cardboard, wooden crayons and plasticized it so that it is not damaged by the sun and water.

-I kept a constant watering of 2 times a day, so that the soil was always moist.
-On the fifth day the small seedlings began to sprout from the soil.

It is beautiful to be able to see these little seedlings sprout from the earth and grow, to know that in a few months they will give harvest and I will be able to put on the table the result of the family effort, That really is priceless.
