One day (last Saturday I think) I was in a bad mood so I went for a walk and came across a farmers market.
To be frank here I had no real intention to stop and shop but after walking I felt a bit hungry. I thought why not, lets see what they got. So I went strolling through and was getting hungrier and hungrier and I realized I only had 19 pesos.
What was I going to buy with one dollar?
I saw the small melons and thought
mmmmm
Did I mentioned my hunger was all I could think about? lol
I didn't know how much these melons would even cost. But I took one anyways and went to the counter and made my purchase and received change back. go figure. Are your melons under a buck?
When I got back home I instantly went into the kitchen for the knife. I cut that sucker in half and halved it 2 more times and indulged myself to it's sweet taste.
It was really watery and dripped it everywhere.
as I took the last half with me outside and the knife to cut it down further, I saw my pot holder looking lonely. So I just dumped the entire case of seeds into the pot, covered it and hit it with the hose. I have been watering it ever day before and after the sun.
I do not regret that decision. I have actually grown really attached to it but now I have this looming fear.
What do i do with so much melon plants in such a small flower pot.
ahhhhh
I need to give each their own space their own room to grow.
or
will they be ok as they are???
I'm no green thumb here. I have also growing a row of cannabis and some orange trees that have yet to sprout out.
What you guys think I should do with the melons?
