Number one rule is to be kind. Really kind:

• comment on the posts of others in the community in a positive way;
• upvote others in our community, as you can;
• share the great posts of OTHERS in our #nurtury channel;
• leave tips;
• reblog great posts;
• share the content of others on twitter, facebook, reddit and LinkedIn;
• Assume the best about others first. Looks like someone's plagiarizing? Ask gentle questions in comments first. DM rather than shame, blame & knee-jerk report. Privately message a Elder in Discord. Appreciate language and educational differences. Offer assistance. Suggest mentoring or BE that mentor.
• See someone new with almost no Hive? Delegate them 50 Hive with no questions asked, to help get them started.
• Put up your hand for community jobs - using Reddit? Or LinkedIn or Twitter? be that person in our community who helps share content there and invites people to join our community. Growing our community with good contributors helps everyone.

We EXPECT all of that from Natural Medicine community members, most of the time. And we know that expecting the best, brings out that best in others. We also know that giving the best draws that back to ourselves abundantly.

Proof of Brain

Both Hive and Natural Medicine are built on the premise of Proof of Brain. That means Original Content.

• We want to see personal experience informing your posts - it always gets a much better result than paraphrasing content you've read elsewhere. If you want to write about ginger, tell us what brought you to that place. Is your mom sick? Do you like the taste? Is it cheap and abundant now?
• You MUST quote your sources. Please use the quote mark facility to clearly identify text you have borrowed from elsewhere.
• Your borrowed text must NEVER be more than 50% of your total word length.
• If you make a claim like "studies show ginger is good for nausea" then you MUST quote the study. Source. If you don't know how to quote sources, please ASK in the #HiveHelp channel or ask for a Mentor in the #LOTUS-Mentorship channel in discord
• Please try to use your own images. Yes, there are hundreds of free image banks online which don't REQUIRE you to source the image, but which ask you to. Remember the Proof of Heart? Be kind and source ALL images.
• we suggest adding a clause to the end of your posts in the footer, just as our friend @tattodjay does: "unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me." See the way I did that? I sourced my phrase and didn't try to claim his content as mine.
• Be thoughtful about the tags you choose - randomly plonking irrelevant tags irritates curators, defeats the purpose and proves you're not thinking.

We EXPECT ORIGINAL QUALITY from our members, all of the time.
