Tribute to women - Homenaje a las mujeres
So today I want to embrace you with my words, you woman who was born as one, who loves and accepts yourself, who faces life with firmness and is the pillar of your family, fulfilling the role of mother and father because you wanted it or you had to because of life issues, I congratulate you for carrying in your womb the hope of a better world, for educating and for doing a thousand things at the same time.
Because you dedicate yourself to work, study, help others, and even forgetting about yourself, I congratulate you for your sacrifice in silence and sometimes without reward.
I embrace that woman, who for feeding her children has lost her shame using her body as a means of work, I do not judge you, I am not who, I just hope you find a better opportunity.
I embrace the woman who was born one, but who feels lost in a strange body, the one who wants to be a man but is a woman, who dreams of having no breasts and a beard on her face. She falls in love with her peers but sometimes is not reciprocated, who faces a society that still rejects her and if she is lucky she is loved by her family for what she is and feels. To you, my friend who feels the emptiness of not belonging, I embrace you and tell you that maybe you don't feel like a woman but you have the strength of the body that today you would like to change. My admiration for the courage to accept what you feel and fight to defend it.
Así que hoy quiero abrazarte con mis palabras, a ti mujer que naciste como una, que te quieres y te aceptas, que afrontas la vida con firmeza y eres el pilar de tu familia, cumpliendo con el rol de madre y padre porque así lo quisiste o te tocó por cuestiones de la vida, te felicito por llevar en tu vientre la esperanza de un mundo mejor, por educar y por hacer mil cosas al mismo tiempo.
Porque te dedicas a trabajar, estudiar, ayudar a los demás e incluso olvidándote de ti misma, te felicito por tu sacrificio en silencio y a veces sin recompensa.
Abrazo a aquella mujer, que por alimentar a sus hijos ha perdido su vergüenza usando su cuerpo como medio de trabajo, no te juzgo, no soy quien, solo espero encuentres una mejor oportunidad.
Abrazo a la mujer que nació siendo una, pero que se siente perdida en un cuerpo extraño, aquella que quiere ser hombre pero es mujer, que sueña con despojarse de senos y tener barba en su rostro. Que se enamora de sus iguales pero a veces no es correspondida, que se enfrenta a una sociedad que aun la rechaza y que si tiene suerte es amada por su familia por lo que es y siente. A ti amiga que sientes el vacío de no pertenecer, te abrazo y te digo que tal vez no te sientes mujer pero posees la fortaleza del cuerpo que hoy quisieras cambiar. Mi admiración por la valentía de aceptar lo que sientes y luchar por defenderla.
A hug to the woman who loves herself as she is, and likes her body so much that she wants to be, love, and be loved by another woman, is surely a strong and valuable feeling to defend. I embrace and respect you, great souls everywhere.
A hug to all women who are in war conditions, undocumented, making a forced migration, living domestic violence, facing a deadly disease or overcoming, and above all a big hug for those who suffer Gender violence.
On behalf of a sick society, that sometimes likes confrontation more than peace, I apologize for the mistake of judging you with my look and way of thinking, I apologize for the uncomfortable moments you have suffered because of false gender identity and for a closed society that finds it hard to accept differences.
Un abrazo a la mujer que se quiere tal cual es, y le gusta tanto su cuerpo que de otro igual quiere ser, ama y ser amada por otra mujer, seguro es un sentimiento fuerte y valioso que defender. Te abrazo y te respeto, grandes almas por doquier.
Un abrazo a todas las mujeres que se encuentran en condiciones de guerra, indocumentadas, haciendo una migración forzada, viviendo violencia doméstica, enfrentando una enfermedad mortal o superando, y sobre todo un gran abrazo para aquellas que sufren violencia de Género.
En nombre de una sociedad enferma, que a veces les gusta más el enfrentamiento que la paz, te pido disculpa por el error de juzgarte con mi mirada y forma de pensar, disculpas por los momentos incómodos que has sufrido causa de una falsa identificación de género y por una sociedad cerrada que le cuesta aceptar las diferencias.
