A new recommendation.
Hoy paso nuevamente por aquí para comentarte un poco acerca de una nueva experiencia con la manicura. Resulta que hace un par de meses atrás vi un tweet de una chica que recomendaba el excelente servicio de una manicurista. Ese tweet llamó mi atención, así que decidí hacer caso a esa recomendación a ver qué tal. Mis experiencias anteriores con las manicuristas han sido buenas y no tan buenas, de hecho, ya tenía un lugar de confianza al que solía ir casi siempre a arreglar mis uñas pero dejé de acudir a él porque se debe agendar con mucha antelación y, además, los precios de los servicios comenzaron a elevarse un poco más de la media, así que en vista de esto comencé a buscar a otra manicurista que brindara un buen servicio a un precio considerable.
Mi última experiencia buscando una nueva manicurista no fue todo un éxito, así que en esta oportunidad traté de ir con expectativas no demasiado elevadas, a pesar de que aquel tweet me había sembrado una idea bastante positiva. Para resumirles un poco este cuento: ¡he encontrado una nueva manicurista! sinceramente, quedé encantada con esta chica pues es sumamente agradable y profesional. Se toma el tiempo suficiente para hacer su trabajo con atención y cuidado a los detalles, además de que le encanta cuando las clientas le preguntan ciertos detalles técnicos sobre los diferentes tipos de manicuras y productos, ¡ama explicarle las cosas a las chicas!
Today I'm stopping by again to tell you a little bit about a new manicure experience. It turns out that a couple of months ago I saw a tweet from a girl who recommended the excellent service of a manicurist. That tweet caught my attention, so I decided to heed that recommendation and see how it went. My previous experiences with manicurists have been good and not so good, in fact, I already had a trusted place where I used to go almost always to fix my nails but I stopped going to it because you have to schedule well in advance and, in addition, the prices of services began to rise a little above average, so in view of this I started looking for another manicurist who provided a good service at a considerable price.
My last experience looking for a new manicurist was not a success, so this time I tried to go with not too high expectations, even though that tweet had planted a pretty positive idea in my mind. To sum up this story a bit: I have found a new manicurist! Honestly, I was delighted with this girl as she is extremely nice and professional. She takes enough time to do her job with attention and care to detail, plus she loves it when clients ask her for technical details about the different types of manicures and products, she loves to explain things to the girls!

No pude haber quedado más que satisfecha acudiendo a este lugar. Además, le doy puntos extras porque me ofrecieron café y galletitas...ustedes saben que en donde sea que me ofrezcan café, se terminarán ganando de forma inmediata mi corazón. Como podrán darse cuenta mis uñas estaban un poco desastrosas (¡qué vergúenza!), pero entre el trabajo en el laboratorio y las prácticas de escalada es inevitable que las termine descuidando un poco. En esta oportunidad el trabajo que le realizaron a mis uñas fue el mismo que por lo general solicito: kapping con acrílico, realmente me ha ido bastante bien con ello en todas las oportunidades pasadas así que en esta ocasión no quise arriesgarme mucho y por ello elegí lo típico para mí. A pesar de que me gustan las pinceladas y diseños, en esta oportunidad me dedicí por un solo color.

Llevaba en mente el color vinotinto desde hace días, así que esa fue la opción ganadora. Aunque a decir verdad, este tono que escogí es un vinotinto que se inclina hacia el tono rosado, ¡me encanta! recuerdo que hace mucho tiempo tuve un esmalte parecido a este que usaba con frecuencia porque el tono era precioso. Por otro lado, decidí conservar mis uñas cortas porque la semana que viene retomo el trabajo en el laboratorio y, sinceramente, tener uñas tan largas mientras trabajas con guantes es un experiencia que no recomiendo demasiado.
I could not have been more than satisfied going to this place. Plus, I give it extra points because they offered me coffee and cookies...you know that wherever they offer me coffee, they will immediately win my heart. As you can see my nails were a bit of a mess (shame on me!), but between lab work and climbing practice it is inevitable that I end up neglecting them a bit. This time the work they did to my nails was the same as I usually request: kapping with acrylic, I've actually done pretty well with it in all the past opportunities so this time I didn't want to risk too much and so I chose the typical for me. Although I like brush strokes and designs, this time I went for a single color.
I had been thinking about the vinotint color for days, so that was the winning option. Although to tell the truth, this shade I chose is a vinotint that leans towards a pinkish tone, I love it! I remember a long time ago I had a nail polish similar to this one that I used frequently because the tone was beautiful. On the other hand, I decided to keep my nails short because next week I go back to work in the lab and, honestly, having such long nails while working with gloves is an experience I don't recommend too much.
Me alegra mucho haberme encontrado con aquel tweet que me llevó a seguir esta recomendación, ha sido el mejor plan de todos. Qudé bastante conforme con esta nueva manicurista, sin duda es la nueva persona a la que le confiaré de ahora en adelante el cuidado de mis uñas.

I'm so glad I came across that tweet that led me to follow this recommendation, it was the best plan ever. I was quite happy with this new manicurist, she is definitely the new person I will trust from now on to take care of my nails.
