The garden vibes drew me in. Simple dishes that made my tongue fall in love at first taste.
It's true, we're more likely to be attracted to things we've already liked. It's about similar vibrations, or the feelings they evoke.
Because in recent years I've been into all things gardening, it's made me drawn to gardening, especially recreational areas and dining options.
Well, this happened last Sunday. My husband took me for a walk to an area we'd never been to before. The morning walk was a bit long because we didn't have any gardening work to do last weekend. So we looked for another area to walk to. We started walking at 6 a.m.
The weekend atmosphere wasn't crowded, but I liked that. I found a cafe a few kilometers from my house. I think I've increased my walking distance. Over 5km without stopping. I'm so proud of myself.
The front of the cafe is still quiet because it's still 7 a.m. Cafedangan looks like it's from the front. It's rustic.
At the beginning of this article, I talked about breakfast in the garden. Be patient, I'll take you to that. Meanwhile, I'll take you to the unique design of this cafe.
We'll see an interesting rustic design. Various woodwork is neatly arranged. While I wait for my food, I'll tell you about the cafe's design.
A brilliant rustic design that utilizes recycled materials often found in homes. Like the wooden doors.
You can also see used drums that have been turned into chairs and tables, combined with wood.
In another area, you can see traditional rattan weaving, often used for walls in ancient houses. It's used for decoration, complete with classic lamps.
So, which part do I call the garden? Don't forget to always explore new places when visiting.
I found a unique spot behind the cafe. It looked like a small garden. Interestingly, when I sat there, the woman, who I think is the owner, was watering the plants.
The outdoor area was surrounded by decorative flowers, especially bonsai trees.
There was a spot on the wall that used reclaimed wood from old windows, artfully arranged as decoration. Bright flowers were added to enhance the beauty.
And I loved posing next to the orchids, which were in full bloom.
Sorry, I've been talking about the food for too long. I ordered a traditional dish here.
It's called Soto. It's a traditional clear soup containing rice, minced meat, and mung bean sprouts.
For other quick bites, I ordered dim sum. Chicken dim sum with cheese filling. Perfect for an appetizer.
There were also satay and egg spring rolls, but these weren't my orders. Usually, these dishes are served by the cafe staff. We only eat what we eat. So, it's best not to eat them, as my main course was already filling me up!
I really enjoyed my weekend with a bowl of soto, a simple yet warming and comforting soup. This clear soup is a daily staple in my current neighborhood.
Then, for my weekend treat, I ordered ginger and honey lemon tea. It was delicious, warming the body, and also good for boosting the immune system. And the suprised, I only paid 2 dollars. Great! Thanks for reading ❤️
