[ENG/ESP] Stuffed Pork and Chicken Polenta / Polenta Rellena De Cer...

Today I prepared a delicious polenta and before I had prepared it without stuffing but remembering the causa rellena which is a typical Peruvian food that I became a fan of while living there, I had the idea to make this polenta with a tasty pork stew and stewed chicken.

Hoy preparé una deliciosa polenta y antes la había preparado sin relleno pero recordando la causa rellena que es una comida típica de Perú de la cual me volví fanático mientras viví allá, tuve la idea de hacer esta polenta con un sabroso guiso de cerdo y pollo guisado.

Ingredients:
150 grams of pork.
2 chicken thighs.
1 carrot.
Chives.
1 tomato.
5 grains of garlic.
1 teaspoon of chicken broth.
1 cup corn flour.
1 cup of liquid milk.
Chopped cilantro.
2 tablespoons of butter.
Salt and oil.

Ingredientes:
150 gramos de carne de cerdo.
2 contramuslos de pollo.
1 zanahoria.
Cebollín.
1 tomate.
5 granos de ajo.
1 cucharadita de caldo de pollo.
1 taza de harina de maíz.
1 taza de leche líquida.
Cilantro picado.
2 cucharadas de mantequilla.
Sal y aceite.

Procedure:

Place the meat to cook in abundant water with a tablespoon of salt for approximately 45 minutes. Remove from water and let it rest before cutting into small cubes.

Procedimiento: Colocar la carne a cocinar en abundante agua con una cucharada de sal por aproximadamente 45 minutos. Retirar del agua y dejar reposar antes de cortar en cubos pequeños.

In a frying pan place a drizzle of oil and the chopped garlic with the chives. Sauté and continue adding the chopped tomato and sauté for a minute.

En un sartén colocar un chorrito de aceite y el ajo picado con el cebollín. Sofreír y continuar agregando el tomate picado y sofreír un minuto.

Then add the minced pork and chicken along with the carrot and a cup of beef broth. Cook for 10 minutes or until most of the liquid is reduced. Let the stuffing cool.

Aparte colocar la harina de maíz en un envase con la cucharada de caldo de pollo y un vaso de agua. Disolver bien y reservar.

In a saucepan place the butter with the garlic and sauté. Add the liquid milk and the flour soaked with a teaspoon of salt. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until a paste forms. Turn off the heat and add the chopped cilantro.

En una olla colocar la mantequilla con el ajo y sofreír. Añadir la leche líquida y la harina remojada con una cucharadita de sal. Cocinar a fuego medio revolviendo constantemente hasta que se forme una pasta. Apagar el fuego y agregar el cilantro picado.
