Good morning everyone. I woke up so early in the morning and cannot go back to sleep anymore so now I decided to just post what I cooked yesterday for our dinner. This is called adobo but O changed something to it for it to be able to be cooked faster. I sliced the pork smaller pieces to do that.
Adobo is a famous recipe in the Philippines where you can use different types of protein as your main ingredient and today I am making pork Adobo.
Lets start by preparing all of this ingredient that you can see in this photo. All we need to do is to marinate your sliced pork with all of the ingredients that we have.
As you can see we have garlic and onion, salt and pepper, garlic powder and soy sauce. I forgot to include the soy sauce in the picture but I included it in the marinade.
All you need to do is to put all of those ingredients on our sliced pork and let it marinate for four hours but last night I just gave it like 30 minutes since we don't have the time.
After the marination you can now put it in a pan. On this version, you don't have to put some cooking oil in it. You can just put a little bit of water and cover it. The pork will just moisturize and will release its own oil which will cook the pork. You just need to cover it and check it from time to time and also give it a mix.
You just need to cook it on medium heat and wait for it to dry out. This time, you can now adjust the flavor of the food depending on your taste by adding salt or sugar into it. Once the pork is already cooked and the moistures already dried out then that means that you are already done and that is it, as simple as that.
TARA KAON :)
