Un saludo para todos los que hacen vida en esta grandiosa comunidad #foodiesbeehive, hoy les quiero compartir una receta para elaborar Donas y Pavitas, se que en otros lugares a las pavitas les llaman de otra forma por ejemplo “Bomba”, me gustaría saber como los conocen en otros lugares, los leo en los comentarios.
Greetings to all who make life in this great community #foodiesbeehive , today I want to share with you a recipe for Donuts and Pavitas, I know that in other places the pavitas are called differently for example "Bomba", I would like to know how they are known in other places, I read them in the comments.
Ingredientes: 500g de harina, ½ taza de azúcar, 2 cucharadas de mantequilla, 1 pisca de sal, 1 huevo, 2 cucharaditas de levadura, una taza de leche y aceite para freír.
Ingredients: 500g flour, ½ cup sugar, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 pinch of salt, 1 egg, 2 teaspoons yeast, 1 cup milk and oil for frying.
Lo primero que debemos hacer es activar la levadura, para ello vamos a tibiar la taza de leche no podemos dejar que se caliente demasiado ya que esto mataría a las bacterias orgánicas que produce la levadura. Cuando esta este tibia agregamos 1 cucharadita de azúcar, 1 cucharadita de harina de trigo y 2 cucharaditas de levadura, en este caso use instantánea. Lo mezclamos hasta que queden todos disueltos e integrados a la leche y dejamos reposar por unos 15min tapado con un trapo. Transcurrido los 15 minutos sabremos que nuestra levadura está activada debido a que en la parte superior se formará una especie de esponja la cual no se debe revolver porque sino eliminarían los gases que esta a generado durante la fermentación de la levadura.

En una taza o bol colocamos todos los ingredientes en forma de volcán, harina, sal, azúcar, mantequilla y huevo. Empezamos a mezclar lo del centro y poco a poco vamos integrándose junto con los demás ingredientes, al igual que vamos incorporando poco a poco la levadura que activamos previamente. Amasamos la mezcla hasta que esta empiece a separarse tanto de la taza como también de nuestras manos. Cuando veamos que ya está completamente homogénea y compactada la masa con textura suave es porque ya está lista y debemos taparla y dejarla reposar por unos 30 minutos.

Luego de haber transcurrido los 30 minutos de reposado de la masa procedemos a estirarla con un rodillo dejándola de 1 cm de grueso aproximadamente, si no tenemos cortador de Donas podemos utilizar un vaso y con la ayuda de un cuchillo cortamos el centro de la dona o si lo que prefieres es hacer pavitas no le cortamos el centro. Ya cortadas las donas y pavitas las colocamos en una bandeja y las dejamos reposar por 10 minutos, luego de esto procedemos a freír en un caldero con abundante aceite que esté previamente calentado.

Once the donuts and pavitas are cut, place them on a tray and let them rest for 10 minutes, then proceed to fry them in a pan with plenty of oil that has been previously heated.
Para la decoración utilice azúcar glass y realice un glaseado de chocolate derritiendo una tableta de chocolate en un poco de leche puesto al baño maría. Ya solo tocó servir, decorar y disfrutar de estas deliciosas Donas y Pavitas.
For decoration, use powdered sugar and make a chocolate glaze by melting a chocolate bar in a little milk in a double boiler. Now it's time to serve, decorate and enjoy these delicious Donuts and Pavitas.
