I catch Oregon Dungeness crab and also Pacific red rock crab and love them. I try and go every few weeks, this is an example of what I caught from a pier last week. I mostly just boil the crab until they are cooked, then let them cool on a plate and get the meat out of the body and claws and legs after. I can make crab cakes out of the crab, or anything with the meat out that way. Sometimes I like to just eat the crab right after cooking it, while its fresh and hot also. Some people in other parts of the world probably use way more of the crab than I do, and so thats is why I wanted to post this. How do you guys prepare your crab? and am I using the best parts, and the most of the crab, as to not waste any part? Thanks everyone, and hope that you enjoy this little first post of mine into the food world, hope you all have a great day!
