I am a lover of cáchapa and this time I want to share with you how to make this traditional Venezuelan dish that has also conquered many palates around the world.
Corn in Venezuela is a must and its great variety of preparations that originate from it makes it one of our main ingredients.
Without further ado, here are the ingredients and steps for this Venezuelan dupla: cachapa stuffed with cheese accompanied by fried pork.
Feliz martes queridos amigos amantes de la comida, les envío un caluroso abrazo y a través de este plato les invito a conocer un poco de la gastronomía venezolana.
Soy amante de la cáchapa y en esta oportunidad les quiero compartir como realice este plato tradicional venezolano que también ha conquistado muchos paladares por todo el mundo.
El maíz en Venezuela es infaltable y su gran variedad de preparaciones que se originan del mismo lo hace uno de nuestros ingredientes primordiales.
Sin más preámbulo les dejo los ingredientes y pasos a realizar para esta dupla venezolana: cachapa rellena con queso acompañada de cochino frito.
Ingredients:
500g ground baby corn
150g sugar
1 tablespoon salt
Butter
Fresh cheese guayanés, telita or white cheese
1 kilo fresh pork
2 cloves of garlic
Pepper
Adobo
Oregano
Salt
Ingredientes:
500g maíz tierno molido
150gr azúcar
1 cucharada de sal
Mantequilla
Queso fresco guayanés, telita o blanco
1 k cochino fresco
2 dientes de ajo
Pimienta
Adobo
Orégano
Sal
Preparation: Add the sugar and salt to the corn mixture, mix and set aside.
Preparación:
A la mezcla de maíz agregamos el azúcar, la sal, mezclamos y reservamos.
Season the pork with the spices and let it rest for 1 hour so that it gets a good taste.
Sazonamos el cochino con las especies y dejamos reposar por 1 hora para que agarre bien ese gusto.
Heat the griddle over low heat, and on the other side, heat a frying pan with pork lard or natural oil.
Ponemos a calentar la plancha a fuego bajo, y, por otro lado, a calentar un sartén con manteca de cochino o aceite natural.
Once the oil is hot, fry the pork until it is well cooked.
Al tener el aceite caliente llevamos a freír el cochino hasta que esté bien cocido.
When the griddle is hot, pour a little corn mixture and spread it in a round shape.
When we see that several holes are formed we turn over, this mixture should not be left to toast, as it hurts the stomach.
Al tener la plancha caliente vertemos un poco de mezcla de maíz y esparcimos en forma de redondo.
Al ver que se forman varios huequitos volteamos, esta mezcla no se debe dejar tostar, ya que hace daño al estómago.
We pour butter and fill
With cheese.
Le vertimos mantequilla y rellenamos
Con queso.
