Today is the last day of a four day weekend, so it’s probably the last “dinner at my sister-in-law’s house” until the weekend. Besides, I’m putting in too much weight ;). It’s nice because we all share in the preparation and cooking. And it’s delicious when everyone pitches in.
The first dish is stinky tofu. It’s not as stinky as last week, but it’s still good.
The second dish is a Chinese version of kimchi. It doesn’t have the strong sweet spiciness of Korean kimchi, but it’s good.
No meal is complete without greens.
This is a mushroom dish that functions as a meat substitute for vegetarians. It’s slightly salty and very chewy.
Here’s some goose with garlic.
Sausage with garlic.
Guava for dessert with tea.
