Tonight I spent the quality time with my little family at one of the classic coffee and restaurants in my hometown, Bireuen-Aceh, Indonesia.
Some time ago I found this place through an Instagram follower who shared the coffee yet relaxed atmosphere in our area.
Understandably, during the online game outbreak, there are no comfortable coffee shops in our area, every shop is full of young gamers who use the internet network provided by coffee shops.
Jameun Kupi, that's how the owner and founder of this cafe and restaurant named his outlet. The words of Jameun Kupi are described to suit the conditions and atmosphere of the cafe, which uses the old coffee setting.
Not only that, a number of interior and exterior rooms are given the nuances of the past time, and it is as if we are in the past while having coffee and relaxing at Jameun Kupi.
The food and drinks that are served are also unique, the majority of food from old people in our area, such as Boiled Sweet Potatoes, Boiled Sweet Potatoes, Fried Bananas and Coconut Corn. The drinks here are also very nuanced in the past, there are Sarsarparilla Lemonade which was very popular in the 90s, Tubruk Coffee, Nira Kopi, Teukhop Coffee and Bandret.
I ordered Aceh Cooked Instant Noodles, Sarsarparilla Lemonade, Bandret, and Acehnese Teukhop Coffee [Coffee enjoyed with the glass upside down]. Interestingly, the price tagged for some of my orders is only estimated at IDR 48,000 rupiah. The price is too cheap to enjoy a relaxed coffee atmosphere with a comfortable atmosphere and classic food.
