Today I join the call made in the Top Chef contest, @qurator/qurators-hive-top-chef-or-quick-and-easy, this time I bring you an easy recipe that left me surprised how easy it is to prepare without so many ingredients: a quick coconut cake, a delight that stood out for its easy preparation and irresistible flavor. Ideal for those who are looking for a dessert without complications. For the first time I buy a cake mix and it was because its cover caught my attention and I was curious to try it, and well, this recipe combines the softness of the sponge cake with the tropical flavor of coconut. The recipe is quite accessible, since it requires common and few ingredients: cake mix, coconut flavor, eggs, butter, coconut milk and coconut bagasse. In just a few steps, we got the cake mix ready to bake. The simplicity of the process makes it a perfect option for those who are short on time.
Hoy me uno a la convocatoria hecha en el concurso Top Chef, @qurator/qurators-hive-top-chef-or-quick-and-easy, esta vez les traigo una receta facilita que me dejó sorprendida lo fácil de preparar sin tantos ingredientes: una torta rápida de coco, una delicia que se destacó por su preparación fácil y su sabor irresistible. Ideal para aquellos que buscan un postre sin complicaciones. Por primera vez compro una mezcla de tortas y fue porque me llamó la atención su portada y sentí curiosidad en probarla, y bueno, esta receta combina la suavidad del bizcocho con el sabor tropical del coco. La receta es bastante accesible, ya que requiere ingredientes comunes y pocos: mezcla para tortas, sabor a coco, huevos, mantequilla, leche de coco y el bagazo del coco. En pocos pasos, obtuvimos la mezcla de la torta lista para hornear. La simplicidad del proceso la convierte en una opción perfecta para quienes tienen poco tiempo.

We start by removing the shell of the coconut with a few blows, then we remove the coconut pulp and immediately take it to the blender, add the cold water and shake the blender on high until it is completely mixed, then we strain and reserve the coconut bagasse.
Comenzamos quitando la concha al coco con unos golpes, luego sacamos la pulpa del coco y llevamos inmediatamente al vaso de la licuadora, agregamos el agua fría y agitamos la licuadora a nivel alto hasta lograr que se mezcle por completo, seguidamente colamos y reservamos el bagazo del coco.
We take a container and add the three tablespoons of butter, we are going to beat with the electric mixer until it whitens.
Tomamos un envase y agregamos las tres cucharadas de mantequilla, vamos a batir con la batidora eléctrica hasta que blanquee.
Now, separate the eggs in another container to check if they are damaged and not to damage the other ingredients. We add one by one to the butter.
Ahora, separamos los huevos en otro envase para darnos cuenta si están dañados y no dañar los otros ingredientes. Agregamos uno a uno a la mantequilla.

Seguidamente agrego una parte de la mezcla y un chorro de leche de coco y batimos, este procedimiento lo haremos hasta finalizar con los dos ingredientes.
We add to the cake mixture the coconut bagasse that we reserved when we made the coconut milk, this in order to add more flavor.
Agregamos a la mezcla de la torta el bagazo del coco que reservamos cuando hicimos la leche de coco, esto con la finalidad de añadirle más sabor.
After we have the desired texture of the cake mix, we grease an oven safe pan with butter and flour, and we are going to add our cake mix.
Después de tener la textura deseada de la mezcla de la torta, untamos un molde apto para horno de mantequilla y harina, y vamos a agregar nuestra mezcla de la torta.
Now we take to the oven at a temperature of 180 ° C, approximately 25 minutes.
Ahora llevamos al horno a una temperatura de 180º C, a 25 minutos aproximadamente.
After the time has passed, we check the cake with the help of a toothpick, we insert it in the center of the cake if it comes out clean. It will be ready and we remove it, let it cool a little to chop.
Pasado el tiempo, revisamos la torta con la ayuda de un palillo, lo insertamos en el centro de la torta si sale limpio. Estará lista y retiramos, dejaremos enfriar un poco para picar.
Then I unmolded the cake, and sprinkled more coconut bagasse on top. Serve and enjoy.
Luego desmoldé la torta, y le rocié más bagazo de coco por encima. Servimos y disfrutamos.
