On February 28, I gave her a red velvet cake that I shared my previous post here on Hive, but she was not enough with this cake and asked me to prepare a vanilla flavored cake with strawberries, when I arrived at her house I had all the ingredients ready, and well I got down to work, singing birthday and enjoying every bite, she was delighted and pleased with its taste. And seeing her smile when she tasted it and the comments that it was exquisite filled me with joy.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una receta se trata de una torta que hice para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi hermana Elsa, Para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi hermana Elsa, preparé una deliciosa torta de vainilla, salpicada con frutillas frescas, pasas y maní, que le aportaron un toque especial y crujiente. La combinación de sabores fue un verdadero deleite, con la suavidad de la vainilla complementada por la frescura de las frutillas y el dulzor de las pasas. Decoré la torta con las frutillas, pasas y maní que aparté, tal como me pidió mi hermana, quien compró sus ingredientes y la complací con su solicitud, no agregué nada más.
El 28 de febrero, le regalé una torta de terciopelo rojo que compartí mi post anterior aquí en Hive, pero ella no le bastó con esta torta y me pidió que le preparará una con sabor a vainilla con frutillas, cuando llegué a su casa tenía todos los ingredientes ya listo, y bueno puse manos a la obra, al cantar cumpleaños y disfrutar cada bocado, quedó encantada y complacida con su sabor. Y ver su sonrisa al probarla y los comentarios de que quedó exquisita me llenó de alegría.

Next, the lemon zest.
Seguidamente, la ralladura del limón.
Stir all the ingredients together and, finally, add the egg whites to stiff peaks a little at a time and add them to the cake mixture with enveloping movements.
Integramos y removemos todos los ingredientes y, por último, agregamos las claras de huevos a punta de nieve de a poco y con movimientos envolventes lo adicionamos a la mezcla de la torta.
Add the strawberries, raisins and peanuts to the mixture before baking.
Agregamos a la mezcla y antes de llevar al horno, las frutillas, uvas pasas y maní.

We sang a happy birthday to my sister, with three cakes: the red velvet, the vanilla one with strawberries, raisins and peanuts, and another one that my sister Maria gave her a chocolate marquise.
