This week I've been looking for combinations of cucumber smoothie and of all the ones I've tried, this last one has been the most delicious, first of all, because it has blackberries and is one of my favorite fruits, and I've added another of my new addictions which is grapefruit or grapefruit, Although it has a subtle bitterness, it is really delicious, plus it has a lot of benefits, and this smoothie is not only delicious but also very refreshing, ideal for this hot season, and is loaded with many vitamins and nutrients for our body.

Grapefruit besides being rich in antioxidants that help us prevent aging, is great for the health of our skin, helps prevent and eliminate cellulite, and is ideal to help speed up metabolism, also helps prevent cardiovascular disease because it helps to reduce triglycerides and bad cholesterol values. One of the reasons why I started consuming it this week, is because with just one grapefruit you get a feeling of satiety that is rarely achieved, and it is also ideal for irritable bowel and stomach inflammation, the truth is that I have fallen like a blessing. For its part, the blackberry is another gem, which has similar properties to those of grapefruit but also strengthens our immune system, which is a great plus that we must take into account when we undergo dietary regimes to lose weight, because if we do not take due care our immune system may suffer some disorders.

Besides providing so many benefits to our health, and being truly delicious this smoothie is really easy to prepare, and if we put a lot of ice, we can get a slow death frappe to enjoy in our afternoon snack and mitigate the heat a little. Join me and I'll show you how to prepare this delight.

Ingredients

1 Cup	Frozen blackberries
1	Big grapefruit
1/2	Large cucumber
	Sweetener to taste
	Ice and water to taste

Preparation

To begin we add in the blender our blackberries, I keep them frozen they can last for 12 months easily in the freezer, we continue adding the grapefruit, I remove the skin and seeds in their entirety, it is a somewhat tedious job, but worth the effort.

We continue adding the cucumber that we will partially peel and remove the seeds, and add sweetener to taste, I put to these amounts 5 sachets of Stevia, we continue adding water to taste, I put a little more than half a cup, just to help blend everything well.

We continue sieving our smoothie, this is optional, since many people like the blackberry seeds, in my particular case I do not like them, and finally we add ice in the blender and process again for about 3 minutes. Serve and enjoy.

Blackberries are rich in vitamin A, C, and E, and grapefruit likewise is rich in vitamins C mainly and also vitamins A, B2, and B3, cucumber as I had already told you is rich in vitamin A, B, and K, on the other hand, cucumber is 96.8% water, grapefruit is 90% water and blackberries contain 85% water, which makes these three fruits excellent for any diet, just for that fact, and if we talk about their flavors are delicious separately so imagine them together. This is definitely my new favorite, we will see who manages to dethrone this delicious combination.

Esta semana he estado buscando combinaciones del batido de pepino y de todas las que he probado, esta última ha sido la más deliciosa, en primera instancia por que lleva moras y es de mis frutas predilectas, y le he añadido otra de mis nuevas adicciones que es la toronja o pomelo, que aunque tiene un sutil amargor, es realmente deliciosa, además de que tiene una gran cantidad de beneficios, y es que este batido es además de delicioso muy refrescante ideal para esta temporada de calor, y está cargado de muchas vitaminas y nutrientes para nuestro organismo.

La toronja además de ser rica en antioxidantes que nos ayudan a prevenir el envejecimiento, es genial para la salud de nuestra piel, ayuda a prevenir y eliminar la celulitis, y es ideal para ayudar a acelerar el metabolismo, además ayuda a prevenir enfermedades cardiovasculares dado a que colabora en disminuir los valores de triglicéridos y colesterol malo. Una de las cosas por las que comencé a consumirla esta semana, es porque con tan solo una toronja se obtiene una sensación de saciedad que pocas veces se logra, y además es ideal para el colon irritable y la inflamación estomacal, la verdad es que me ha caído como una bendición. Por su parte la mora es otra joya, que tiene propiedades similares a las de la toronja, pero además fortalece nuestro sistema inmunitario, lo cual es un plus genial que debemos tener en cuenta al momento de someternos a regímenes alimenticios para bajar de peso, pues si no tenemos el debido cuidado nuestro sistema inmunológico puede sufrir algunos trastornos.

Además de aportar tantos beneficios a nuestra salud, y de ser verdaderamente delicioso este batido es realmente fácil de preparar, y si le ponemos mucho hielo, podemos obtener un frappe de muerte lenta para disfrutar en nuestra merienda de la tarde y mitigar un poco el calor. Ingredientes

1 Taza	Moras congeladas
1	Toronja grande
1/2	Pepino grande
	Edulcorante a gusto
	Hielo y agua al gusto

Preparación

Tiempo de preparación	10 Minutos
Tiempo de Cocción	N/A

Para comenzar agregamos en la licuadora nuestras moras, yo las conservo congeladas que pueden durar por 12 meses fácilmente en el congelador, continuamos agregando la toronja, le quito la piel y semillas en su totalidad, es un trabajo algo tedioso, pero vale la pena el esfuerzo.

Continuamos agregando el pepino que pelaremos parcialmente y retiramos las semillas, y adicionamos edulcorante al gusto, le coloque a estas cantidades 5 sobres de Stevia, continuamos adicionando agua al gusto, le coloque poco más de media taza, solo para ayudar a licuar bien todo.

Continuamos tamizando nuestro batido, esto es opcional, ya que a muchos les agradan las semillas de las moras, en mi caso particular no me gustan, y por último agregamos hielo en la licuadora y procesamos nuevamente por unos 3 minutos. Servimos y a disfrutar.

Las moras son ricas en vitamina A, C y E, y la toronja de igual manera es rica en vitaminas C principalmente y también vitaminas A, B2 y B3, el pepino como ya les había comentado es rico en vitamina A, B y K, por otro lado, el pepino es 96.8% agua, la toronja es 90% agua y las moras contienen un 85% de agua, lo cual hace de estos tres frutos excelentes para cualquier dieta, solo por ese hecho, y si hablamos de sus sabores son deliciosos por separados así que imagínenlos juntos. Definitivamente este es mi nuevo favorito, veremos quien logra destronar esta deliciosa combinación.
