I recently went to a local cafe in the western part of Kobe,Japan. The cafe sits on a farm. Lots of vegetables were served. The vegetables included carrots, mushroom, lettuce, radish and pickled cabbage. There was also quiche.
A lovely serving of miso soup and rice accompanied the dish. The meal was colorful, healthy, tasty and filling. The environment was relaxing.
On display, they had a huge potato they had harvested from the farm. That one potato must had weighed about 4-5 kilograms. I had to to take a pic.
There and then I thought of the many ways I could cook it but I would be eating it for days. I decided to leave it on the shelf and not buy it.
It was a lovely experience.
