Hello, friends greetings. this recipe is for @qurator top hive chef cream pasta.
As most of you know I am in India and very hard to get the readymade ingredients here in our small paradise. From butter to cream we make our own, even pasta also. But this time we carried some pasta packages in our luggage from Norway which I used for this recipe.
Ingredients:
300 grams of pasta
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup cream homemade
3 tbsp butter homemade
1 tbsp flour
1 onion
1 garlic bulb
10 cauliflower florets
1 carrot
small piece of cheese
basil, thyme,1 tsp each
2 pinches of grated nutmeg,
pepper, and salt to taste.
To make sure there are no worms in the cauliflower put it in boiling water with salt and baking soda. remove from heat and keep around 5 minutes.
meanwhile cut onion, carrot, garlic, and grate the cheese.

Warm a skillet and add 1 tbsp butter.
Add chopped garlic.
Add chopped onion.
Stir it until translucent.
Add chopped carrot.
Add cauliflower florets, salt and pepper.
add 1.5 cup water. cook until soft and let it cool.
When cool make a smooth puree using a mixer. keep aside.
Cook pasta to boiling water with salt to taste.
In the skillet melt 2 tbsp butter mine is homemade and looks very white. Add basil and thyme.
when it becomes aromatic add flour. Roast flour together with basil and thyme.
Add 1/2 cup milk.
To avoid the lumps keep continuously stirring.
Add nutmeg.
and cream.
Add grated cheese and stir well.
add pepper and salt to taste.
Add cauliflower carrot puree in white sauce.
mix it well and cook on low heat for around 3-4 minutes keep stirring.
The creamy sauce is ready.
Add in cooked pasta. mix it. tasty delicious creamy pasta is ready.
I put some tomato slices and olive slices on the top. Enjoy the dinner.
