This dish in Java is called oblok-oblok tempeh tofu. Indonesia people are familiar with tofu and tempeh. Tempeh is made from soybeans and it goes through several process.
Starting from boiling soybeans,giving them yeast,waiting for them for a few hours and then making tempeh.
Tempeh and tofu are often used as a variety of Indonesia dishes,one of which. This name in other areal will have a home cooking with or ease to make.
As below I make oblok dishes they eaty way oblok-oblok dishes the easy way. Cooking oblok vegetables in not difficult and the seasoning is simple. Material used,like
- Half a tempeh board,one slice of tofu.
- Candlenut,shredded coconut,green chilies.
Mashed ingredient
- 3 garlic.
- 4 shallots.
- 2 chili red
- 2 red chilies
- 1 spoon of ketumbar
- 4 hazelnut seeds
- 3 cm of turmeric
- 100 grams of parud coconut
- 2 cm of kencur
- 2 inches of gadangal
- 3 spoons of oil for sauting,salt,sugar,flavo to taste
Cooking step
The first step cut the tempeh and tofu into small pieces,drain.
The second step in to purre shallots,garlic,hazelnut,coriender,red chilies,turmaric,kencur,salt,to refine these ingredient, I use the uleg method.
The third step is making coconut milk from coconut given hot boiled water.
Fourth step,heat the oil a little,saute the ground spices until it smells good, then add coconut milk, then add the tempeh,tofu,slices of green chilies.
Stir until blended, add sugar,salt until the water boils,then liftid the input into a bowl on top of which given the sliced leeks and ready to eat. Thank you.
