hello and welcome to all the readers.
I am not a professional cook, i started my cooking journey 2 years ago. Been cooking mostly weekends. I must confess, that i am still learning and have still not mastered the art of salt and spice. Anyways, this is my version of egg masala i made yesterday.
Ingredients
2 medium chopped onions
3/4 boiled eggs cut into small pieces
Spices as per your taste (chilli powder, garam masala, paprika powder etc)
Poppy seeds & Oregano
1 table spoon of ginger garlic paste
Tomato Puree - 2/3 table spoons
Lets cook:
- On medium heat, put the pan on the stove. Add some olive oil and few poppy seeds and oregano.
- When the seeds start popping, add the chopped onions.
- Keep stirring the onions, till it turns light brownish.
- Add the ginger garlic paste, and mix it well. Let the onions absorb it.
- Add all the spices as per your taste. Mix it well and let the onions absorb the spices.
- Add 2/3 spoons of tomato puree. Mix it well. Keep adding water and mix it well. I wanted the masala to be thick, so i added only 1/4 glass of water overall.
- Add salt as per your taste.
- Cook for 2/3 minutes, and then add the cut egg slices and mix it well.
- Cook for 2 more minutes and the dish is ready to serve.
