hello community friends
How are you
I hope you are always fine
today I want to make a typical Aceh food, namely "gulai jruek drien"
Jruk drien is a durian that is taken from the flesh and fermented until it is slightly sour.
Jruek drien is made from durian that has been fermented to have a sweet and sour taste.
The long fermentation process also affects the taste, 'jruk drien' is stored in a tightly closed container and then left for a week at most, after which it is cooked.
The ingredients used are durian acid, vegetables and coconut milk. Some also include shrimp as a complement to dishes.
ingredient ;
- Jruek that has been fermented
- coconut milk
- shrimp
- sliced vegetables:
melinjo leaves, melinjo fruit, eggplant, long beans, katokak, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves.
- ground spices
- red chili
- Cayenne pepper
- red bottom
- white bottom
- ginger
- turmeric
- complementary materials;
- salt
- sugar
- broth powder
- how to cook
Cut all the vegetables
Puree all seasoning ingredients
Put the ground spices first into the pan, then add the sliced prawns and vegetables, add the 'jruk drien', then stir until well blended.
Let stand for a while until the spices are absorbed
Add coconut milk, salt, sugar and powdered broth, while stirring so that the coconut milk doesn't clot
Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, adjust seasoning and ready to serve.
