hello community friends
How are you?
hope you always good.
The rainy season at the end of September, I really miss my childhood memories with my late grandmother.
It's true what people say, rain is 1% water, 99% memories.
I used to spend a lot of time with my grandmother while my mother worked, and she often made me food from vegetables.
Grandma said "as long as I want to eat vegetables, Grandma will make it in any shape"
I hated vegetables as a child and my grandmother used to make me snacks with various kinds of vegetables.
and the most frequent is "Bala-Bala Bakwan"
Snacks that are very simple and easy to make, also easy to find at street food stalls at affordable prices starting from Rp.1000-2000/bakwan.
why is it called bala bala bakwan?
Bala means "messy/irregular". like its shape, bakwan cannot be 100% round, neat and smooth in shape.
This snack is very enjoyable especially if you are relaxing in the shop while drinking tea or coffee, usually bakwan is a companion snack.
not infrequently also become an afternoon meal at work. usually after finishing work while waiting for the hour to go home then my friend will go out to buy this snack.
This bakwan can be enjoyed with sweet sauce and soy sauce, peanut sauce or cayenne pepper sauce
