Yesterday, I found myself in Liloan City—a charming town nestled in the northern part of Cebu. It wasn’t a planned trip, just one of those spontaneous getaways that turned out better than expected. The peaceful vibe of Liloan was the breath of fresh air I didn’t know I needed.
While exploring the town, I stumbled upon a cozy café called Ceferino. Tucked away from the main road, this place felt like a hidden gem. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a serene atmosphere—quiet corners, rustic interiors, and a gentle breeze that made everything feel slow and calm. It was the kind of place where you could just sit and forget about time.
Of course, no café visit is complete without good food, and Ceferino did not disappoint. I ordered their carbonara pasta, and oh my goodness—it was a cheese lover’s dream! The pasta was creamy and rich, with generous layers of cheese melting into every bite. It was comfort food at its finest.
To pair with the meal, I had their buko shake, which turned out to be the perfect choice. Cold, refreshing, and not too sweet—it tasted like summer in a glass. Every sip reminded me of why I love discovering local spots. There’s something special about the way local cafés put heart into their food and drinks.
As I sat there, eating and sipping, I looked around and soaked in the stillness. It was far from the usual buzz of the city. Ceferino wasn’t just a café—it was an experience, a quiet retreat in the heart of Liloan.
I left the place with a full stomach and a full heart. Sometimes, the simplest trips turn into the most memorable adventures. If you ever find yourself in the north of Cebu, make sure to drop by Ceferino. You might just find the same peaceful moment I did.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
