Good evening dear friends... Today, I will share with you the delicious lunch I enjoyed with my family. It is a VERY easy and simple recipe to prepare, but with an exquisite contrast of flavors. The secret for this dish to acquire a "unique and special" flavor, is the process in which we cook ALL our ingredients... Let's put on our aprons and start our fun and wonderful process.
Buenas noches queridos amigos... Hoy, compartiré con ustedes el delicioso almuerzo que disfruté en compañía de mi familiares. Es una receta MUY fácil y sencilla de preparar, pero con un exquisito contraste de sabores. El secreto para que éste platillo adquiera un sabor "único y especial", es el proceso en que cocinamos TODOS nuestros ingredientes... Pongámonos el delantal y empecemos nuestro divertido y maravilloso proceso.
- For this preparation we will cut ALL the ingredients in "small" cubes. Fry in 3 tablespoons of olive oil our onion together with the bell pepper, preferably "red" (season with salt and pepper).
- Para ésta preparación cortaremos TODOS los ingredientes en cubos "pequeños". Sofreímos en 3 cucharadas de aceite de oliva nuestra cebolla junto con el pimiento, preferiblemente "rojo" (salpimentamos).
- When they have acquired a "crystalline" consistency, add 1 teaspoon of butter.
- Cuando hayan adquirido una consistencia "cristalina", agregamos 1 cucharadita de mantequilla.

- Añadimos 2 tomates "maduros" junto con 1/2 taza de caldo de pollo.
Next, fry 1 cup of rice for 2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot. Add ALL the ingredients, add 2 cups of water. Adjust the salt, add cumin, sweet paprika and a touch of curry.
