Paneer is also known as cottage cheese, sometimes referred to as soft cheese. It is made by curdling the milk with vinegar, lemon or with any other edible citric acid. The mixture is then put out in a cloth and the liquid part is drained out by pressing out leaving behind the solid residue which is called Paneer itself. It can then be cut into pieces. The below picture is of Paneer, 200gm. It is a popular food in India too.
Before preparing paneer curry, it is good to cut them into small pieces and fry them. It is so good to eat them after frying, so crunchy and soft.
