Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great! Today I'd like to share my experience dining in a new resto that opened in my city that offers Pakistani cuisine . I was intrigued and curious about Pakistani food so yesterday I went over to check it out.🍴 First thing on the menu that caught my eye was the Beef Kheema so I ordered it first and it was lovely! The beef was very well seasoned and the rice & spices were aromatic.💗
For appetizer, I had 3 Chicken Samosas and it came with 2 sauces: the white garlic sauce and hot red sauce. Next to the samosas are the dessert **Rasgullas **- 3 white balls, soft as sponges, swimming in sweet syrup.😊
The other 3 sauces on the right are for the beef kheema - the white refreshing yogurt-y sauce with cucumbers , red hot sauce and the garlic sauce.
For drinks, I had plain Lassi. They had flavored ones but I wanted to try out the original version and it tasted like unsweetened Yakult.🥛
The restaurant is Philistan Resto Bar, owned by a Philippine lady who's married to a Pakistani cook. They combined the names of their countries (Philippines + Pakistan) to celebrate not only their union but also to represent both countries' delicious cuisines.🍲🥘
Overall, it was a great dining experience! I'll come back soon to try out more Pakistani cooking.😋
