Honestly, never in my life I ever thought I would be blogging and posting recipes but here I am.
This is a recipe I got from a friend who got it from her grandmother and it is a weekly hit in my household. Great for the lunchboxes, snacks before the rugby game or just a savory, very filling on the go snack.
What makes this recipe so great is that it only contains 6 ingredients and I guarantee you that you have al 6 ingredients in you pantry and its as easy as throw everything into one mixing bowl, ask your toddler to mix it well and you are good to go.
If you feel more adventurous you can even spice it up adding other ingredients like ham, bacon or fresh herbs. This is a failproof recipe so go ahead, experiment with your own combination.
Here are your six basic ingredients needed for the recipe. It takes less than 30 minutes to prepare and bake these beauties so it is wise to preheat the oven before you start measuring and mixing.
As mentioned before I mixed all ingredients (both wet and dry) together in a mixing bowl and asked my little girl to give it a good stir while I prepared my good old faithful silicone muffin pan with some spray and cook.
This recipe makes 6 big muffins and you can easily double up on the recipe for more.
Once your dough is well mixed together you can bake it in the oven for 20 minutes on 180 degrees or until golden brown.
I used the chunky cheese grater to ensure some beautiful melted, stringy bits when you cut into a warm muffin.
I hope you enjoy this recipe and don't forget to let me know if you are going to try it and what you think of it.
Happy eating!!
