Hello Foodies Bee Hive community, Today I'm excited to share my recipe for a delicious and satisfying chicken sandwich.
It all started when I was feeling particularly hungry and craving something savory and filling. I wanted something quick and easy, but also packed with flavor. That's when I decided to make a chicken sandwich.
Here's what you'll need:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons butter
4 slices of bread
Mayo
Lettuce
Tomato
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture until they are fully coated.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
Toast your bread and spread mayo on one side of each slice.
Add lettuce, tomato, and the cooked chicken breasts to your sandwich.
Enjoy.
I love how easy and customizable this recipe is. You can add different seasonings to the flour mixture to switch up the flavor, or add different toppings to your sandwich depending on your preferences.
