I had some cheese and meat fillets at home so I got creative and got to work to prepare some cheese squares covered with meat and breaded with egg and wheat flour, these squares are really a delight and every bite pleases the palate, I hope you like it.

Tenía en casa un poco de queso y filetes de carne así que me puse creativa y coloqué manos a la obra para preparar unos cuadritos de queso cubiertos con carne y empanize con huevo y harina de trigo, estos cuadritos son realmente una delicia y cada bocado complace al paladar, espero sea de su agrado.

Ingredients:

• 400 gr. of beef fillets
• 200 gr. of pasteurized cheese
• 1 egg
• 2 cups of wheat flour
• Salt
• Adobo
• Oil

Ingredientes:

• 400 gr. De filetes de carne
• 200 gr. de queso pasteurizado
• 1 Huevo
• 2 Tazas de harina de trigo
• Sal
• Adobo
• Aceite

Preparation/ Preparación:

I took the beef fillets and divided them with a knife into squares.

Tomé los filetes de carne y los dividí con un cuchillo en cuadrados.

I relaxed the meat with a mortar and pestle to make it a little thinner so that it would be easier to cook and also soft when it was time to eat.

Relajé la carne con un mortero para que estuviera un poco más fina para así facilitar su cocción y además estuviera blanda a la hora de comer.

Then I took the meat fillets to a bowl and added the seasonings: 1/2 teaspoon of salt and adobo. Mix the seasonings with the meat.

Después llevé a un recipiente los filetes de carne y añadí los condimentos: 1/2 cucharadita de sal y adobo. Mezcle los condimentos con la carne.

I also cut the pasteurized cheese into cubes.

Piqué el queso pasteurizado también en cuadritos.

Then I placed a square of meat and on top of that a square of cheese.

Luego coloqué un cuadrito de carne y sobre éste el de queso.

I covered the entire square of cheese with the meat.

Cubrí todo el cuadrado de queso con la carne.

And I pierced with a few sticks high so that it does not disassemble when fried.

Y atravesé con unos palitos de altura para que no se desarme cuando se fríen.

I repeated the process with each square of cheese wrapped with beef fillet.

Repetí el proceso con cada cuadrados de queso envueltos de filete de carne.

In a bowl I added the egg.

En un recipiente añadí el huevo.

I passed each square of cheese wrapped with beef fillet through the egg.

Pasé cada cuadrado de queso envueltos con filete de carne por el huevo.

Subsequently, I passed through wheat flour.

Posteriormente pasé por harina de trigo.

And fry in previously heated oil.

Y freí en aceite previamente calentado.

I removed the sticks and served the cheese squares wrapped with breaded beef fillets on a plate with rice and cheese sticks.

Les retiré los palitos y serví los cuadritos de queso envueltos con filetes de carne empanizados en un plato con arroz y palitos de queso.
