Dear lovers of various soups, soup is a healthy and tasty appetizer, which is often on our table on Sundays and Thursdays, sometimes I add noodles to the soup, but semolina dumplings seem very festive for the Sunday table and are also very tasty, with the addition of vegetables ideal appetizer.
One plate of homemade, hot soup can make the main dish desirable and more beautiful. What makes my soup richer than the others is that I use fresh, homemade chicken and vegetables that I grow in my garden. Today, soup is not an art, you can prepare it from a bag in five minutes, but it can't be homemade.
That is why I have prepared a recipe for you that is simple but also very tasty, with a little effort you will get a fine homemade soup with vegetables and semolina dumplings.
INGREDIENTS:
chicken meat (drumsticks or whatever you like from chicken meat) I like the soup to have fat so I put other pieces of chicken meat
3 to 4 potatoes
1 large carrot
2 onions
salt
vegeta
PREPARATION:
Clean the vegetables, wash the meat as well, put everything in a larger pot and pour water over it.
Then add a tablespoon of vegeta and a little salt, bring the soup to a gentle boil.
During cooking, due to the meat, foam accumulates on the surface, which needs to be collected in order for the soup to be clear.
When the meat and vegetables are cooked, remove the meat from the soup, and leave the vegetables so that the soup will be rich in vegetables and dumplings.
INGREDIENTS FOR SEMOLINA DUMPLINGS:
- 1 egg
- a few drops of oil
- on top of the knife baking powder
- 3 tops large tablespoons of semolina
PREPARATION:
Separate the egg whites from the yolks, beat the egg whites into a solid foam, then add the egg yolks and whisk together.
When you get a fine foamy mass, add baking powder, then a few drops of oil, and finally add the semolina, stirring so that no lumps remain.
When the semolina is added and the smooth mass is combined, leave it to stand for ten minutes because the semolina will swell and the mass will be as thick as it should be. Leave the soup to boil slightly, then form dumplings with a small spoon and lower it into the boiling soup.
The taste of the soup is perfect, vegetables and soft dumplings are a real pleasure for those who love vegetables and dumplings.
