Visiting Oporto's. In the city of Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar state, Venezuela, there is a restaurant called Oporto's. This place offers a very extensive gourmet menu; where you can enjoy a great variety of meals at affordable prices and with an incredible quality. Similarly; they offer an executive menu, also gourmet style at a cost of $12; however, this executive menu is not the traditional one offered in other establishments; that is, we usually have that kind of menu, where what you are going to consume is practically imposed, because it is what they offer in the day. Logically; they contain soup, dry and drink; but you cannot choose what you want; unlike Oporto's where they present you with the executive menu, but with an incredible variety which takes you a while to order.

For example; you have your starter which is the soup and you can choose between meat, chicken and fish; the main course or dry dish; where you have a first option between fish fillet, tenderloin or chicken; all grilled; but you also have steamed fish, rice topped with smoked cutlet, garlic and battered shrimp, garlic and battered squid rings, seafood cocktail; among other options, all accompanied with garlic toasted bread and with the option of choosing two side dishes; among them, baked plantain, french fries, striped, green or cooked salad, mashed potatoes with chives, rice with tomato, among others. Regarding the drinks; everything is natural and for that moment they offered watermelon, peach, strawberry, paprika with lemon, hibiscus flower, milk, passion fruit; and to finish, you had the option of a black, brown or milk coffee. Truly a very cozy place with three atmospheres to enjoy an exquisite meal. For my part; I chose meat soup as a starter; main course, grilled tenderloin, mashed potatoes with chives and baked banana; my drink, paprika with lemon and to finish a brown coffee; of course, my toasted bread with garlic.

Little by little my order arrived and already on the table I had, first of all, my meat soup with the garlic bread and the paprika with lemon. An extremely exquisite starter; then I received the grilled tenderloin, accompanied by mashed potatoes with chives and baked plantains. The presentation of the dish was so marvelous that I did not want to touch it hehehehehehe; I tell you that the tenderloin was exquisite; super juicy in the middle, you could feel that wonderful pink around the edges; very soft when you tasted it. The mashed potatoes are not to be said; total smoothness, a delicious texture and flavor and the plantains, totally on point. A meal worthy of the place and the price was incredible. The drink was exquisite, with all its ingredients well balanced; I could not leave out the closing with my very nice brown coffee; equally its presentation worthy of the place. Visitando Oporto's. En la Ciudad de Puerto Ordaz estado Bolivar Venezuela; existe un restaurante llamado Oporto's. Este local ofrece un menú tipo gourmet muy extenso; donde podrás disfrutar de una gran variedad de comidas a precios asequibles y con una calidad increíble. De igual manera; ofrecen un menú ejecutivo, también al estilo gourmet a un costo de 12$; sin embargo, este menú ejecutivo no es el tradicional que ofrecen en otro establecimientos; es decir, normalmente tenemos ese tipo de menú, donde lo que vas a consumir prácticamente es impuesto, porque es lo que ofrecen en el día. Lógicamente; contienen sopa, seco y bebida; pero no puedes escoger lo que deseas; a diferencia de Oporto's donde te presentan el menú ejecutivo, pero con una variedad increíble lo que te lleva un tiempo ordenar.

Por ejemplo; tienes tu entrada que es la sopa y puedes escoger entre carne, pollo y pescado; el plato fuerte o seco; donde tienes una primera opción entre filete de pescado, lomito o pollo; todo a la plancha; pero también tienes pescado al vapor, arroz coronado con chuleta ahumada, camarones al ajillo y rebozados, anillos de calamares al ajillo y rebozados, coctel de mariscos; entre otras opciones, todo acompañado con panes tostados al ajillo y con la opción de escoger dos contornos; entre ellos, plátano al horno, papas fritas, ensalada rayada, verde o cocida; puré de papas con cebollín, arroz con tomate, entre otros. Con respecto a las bebidas; todo es natural y para ese momento ofrecían sandía, melocotón, fresa, papelón con limón, flor de jamaica, lechosa, maracuyá; y para finalizar, tenías la opción de un café negro, marrón o con leche. De verdad un lugar muy acogedor con tres ambientes para disfrutar de una comida exquisita. Por mi parte; escogí como entrada sopa de carne; plato fuerte, lomito a la plancha, puré de papas con cebollín y plátano horneado; mi bebida, papelón con limón y para finalizar un café marrón; claro está, mis panes tostados al ajillo.

Poco a poco llegaba mi pedido y ya en la mesa tenía, en primer lugar mi sopa de carne con los panes al ajillo y el papelón con limón. Una entrada sumamente exquisita; luego recibí el lomito a la plancha, acompañado del puré de papas con cebollín y los plátanos al horno. La presentación del plato maravillosa que no provocaba tocarlo jejejeje; les digo que el lomito estaba exquisito; término medio súper jugoso, por sus bordes se notaba ese rosado maravilloso; muy suave al probarlo. El puré de papas ni se diga; suavidad total, una textura y sabor deliciosos y los plátanos, totalmente en su punto. Una comida digna del lugar y el precio increíble. La bebida exquisita, con todos sus ingredientes bien balanceados; no podía dejar de lado el cierre con mi café marrón muy agradable; igualmente su presentación digna del lugar. Oporto's fue una experiencia mágica, que sin duda alguna volvería a experimentar; saludos amigos y nos vemos pronto con más sabor y delicias.
