I Gotta Laksa Love!

The sound of the mobile phone ringing snapped me into waking consciousness. It was the receptionist at the local medical centre and I was late for my appointment because I stayed up late the night before and slept through my alarm.
Note to self: set multiple alarms and have earlier nights; the internet will still be there when you get back.
The appointment was a follow up one for a blood test to check my blood sugar levels. I have type 2 diabetes and have been somewhat naughty of late. If you've seen my recent posts, you'll know what I mean.
Pho Linh
Next to the medical centre is, my favourite Vietnamese restaurant, the Pho Linh, to the point where I am going to have to find somewhere else to eat for variety in my posts here!
The word pho in this context is pronounced "fuh" and it's brilliant for making puns, which adorn the front window and inside walls.

I ordered a chicken ban mi (bread roll with meat and veggies) and a combination laksa.

The ban mi, not pictured, is great for a takeaway snack. It's a meal in itself to be honest.
What I often have difficulty doing is conveying how much food is actually here. The bowl here is around 2 to 3 inches deep.
Definitely value for money.

Even some of the plated dishes can be a few inches high.
The Combination Laksa is a mildly spicy soup containing hokkien noodles, large prawns, tofu squares, coconut milk, water, sliced onion, bean sprouts, coriander, chicken thighs, and fish balls.
I finished the laksa and took the ban mi home to eat later while I contemplated my next major life decision:
What to watch first, She-Hulk or Andor?
Always a tough call, but seeing as I'll be watching both it doesn't matter all that much. Chuckle.
I do need to find new shows to watch, so any recommendations would be helpful.
For now I need to tidy up my home and rehearse my comedy material. I also need to write more jokes.
Thank you for reading.
