One thing I love about this restaurant is that when you order your food, you can see how it is prepared right in front of you. If you order udon noodles, they will show you how they prepare it before you reach the counter.
Another thing to consider is their cleanliness when preparing the food. Since their kitchen is very open, the customers can see how clean it is inside so that they won’t have the chance to have the benefit of the doubt on how clean their foods are. 🫧😌
Here are some foods on their menu. One of their best-sellers is Teriyaki Chickendon, Beef Yakinikudon, Katsudon, Curry Rice and Tendon. My favorite on their menu is the Katsudon. So, I ordered one for myself. Then my brother wanted some prawn tempura, so I ordered Tendon. Then my mom picked Beef Yaki Udon since she didn’t want to eat rice for dinner hehe. 🍜🍛
After giving my orders, they gave me a number for the queue since they would cook some of my orders first. So, I went to the cashier to pay for my orders already. Then aside from my orders, I also bought two pieces of prawn tempuras and one stick of chicken karage. 🍤🍗
When our orders came, I took a photo first. As they say, everything must be documented hahaha. Kidding aside, while you are reading this post, I know some of you are starting to crave this, too hahaha. And I guess I’m also craving the Katsudon again… 😅
One thing that makes me return to Marugame Udon is its unlimited condiments! Yes! They’re giving unlimited tempura flakes, onion leaks, and tempura sauce. Those are the condiments that I always put in my katsudon hehehe. 🫶
Oh boy! Don’t get me wrong about this. But Marugame Udon is more than just another eatery.
