¡Hola a todos! Hoy vengo a hablar de algo que generalmente hago poco, pero nunca está de más compartir algo que me gusta, así no lo haya preparado yo. Mi casa queda en una zona que me encanta porque tienen muchos sitios donde comer rico sin necesidad de caminar mucho. A veces esto es una desventaja cuando queremos comer sano, porque tenemos tantas opciones para salirnos de cualquier rutina alimenticia a solo unos pasos de mi casa.
Hello everyone! Today I come to talk about something that I usually don't do much, but it never hurts to share something that I like, even if I didn't prepare it myself. My house is in an area that I love because there are many places to eat well without having to walk a lot. Sometimes this is a disadvantage when we want to eat healthy because we have so many options to get out of any food routine just a few steps from my house.
Y no les estoy diciendo que son unos 15 minutos o algo así, les hablo de media cuadra, o una cuadra a más tardar. Puedo hacer todo caminando y volver a casa a tiempo. Acá tengo opciones como pollo frito o asado, parrillas, muchas tiendas de comida rápida con ventas de Hamburguesas y Perros Calientes. Pizzerías y heladerías. Esto es solo por nombrar algunas.
Entre mis favoritas hay una tienda en específico, una paletería que hace, para mí gusto, las mejores paletas de la ciudad. Las he probado casi todas, y generalmente ninguna me gustaba porque les faltaba sabor, eran solo los químicos para mantener una paleta firme y agradable a la vista, pero a la hora de comerla no sabían a nada, las hicieran de lo que las hicieran. Les faltaba dulce, o leche, o cremosidad, estaban duras. No me gustaban.
Para la época del boom de las paleterías aquí en Valencia, abrió una cerca de mi casa, y como estaba decidida a encontrar la paleta perfecta, no dudé y fui a comprar una. Escogí la de Cheese cake de fresa y me dispuse a probarla: era perfecta. El dulzor perfecto, cremosa, buena consistencia, y el rico balance entre lo cremoso y lo ácido de la fresa que hizo que este sabor se hiciera mi favorito.
And I'm not telling you it's 15 minutes or something, I'm talking about half a block, or a block at the latest. I can do everything on foot and get home on time. Here I have options like fried or roasted chicken, steakhouses, and lots of fast food stores selling Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. Pizzerias and ice cream shops. These are just to name a few.
Among my favorites, there is one store, in particular, a popsicle shop that makes, for my taste, the best popsicles in town. I have tried almost all of them, and generally none of them I liked because they lacked flavor, they were just the chemicals to keep the popsicle firm and pleasing to the eye, but when it was time to eat it, they tasted like nothing, no matter what they were made of. They lacked sweetness, milk, or creaminess, they were hard. I didn't like them.
Around the time of the paleterías boom here in Valencia, one opened near my house, and as I was determined to find the perfect popsicle, I didn't hesitate and went to buy one. I chose the strawberry Cheesecake and set out to try it: it was perfect. The perfect sweetness, creamy, good consistency, and the rich balance between the creaminess and the acidity of the strawberry made this flavor my favorite.
Les presento a María Paleta, una paletería ubicada en el Centro Comercial Concepto La Granja, de Naguanagua. Es un sitio precioso y bien iluminado que tiene muchas opciones a la hora de escoger una paleta. A estas paletas, podrías ponerles toppings y lluvias de lo que quieras: chocolate, chocolate blanco, arequipe, lluvia de chocolate, maní, colores, coco rayado. Cualquiera que sea tu preferencia se lo puedes agregar a tu paleta.
Los costos van desde 0.5 $ para las paletas más básicas, hasta 2 $ los sabores más exóticos, es decir, cualquiera puede pasar por allí y comprar una paleta sin pensar en quedarse arruinado por comprar un antojo que podría alegrarte el corazón y refrescar el paladar.
This is María Paleta, a paleteria located in the Concepto La Granja Shopping Center in Naguanagua. It is a beautiful and well-lit place that has many options when it comes to choosing a popsicle. You can add toppings and rains of whatever you want to these popsicles: chocolate, white chocolate, arequipe, chocolate rain, peanuts, colors, and shredded coconut. Whatever your preference is, you can add it to your popsicle.
The costs range from 0.5 $ for the most basic popsicles to 2 $ for the most exotic flavors, that is, anyone can stop by and buy a popsicle without thinking of being ruined by buying a whim that could gladden your heart and refresh your palate.

Las opciones son numerosas, yo fui como a las 6 de la tarde y aún quedaban muchas, siempre hay gente presente en el local, incluso se puede hacer hasta una pequeña fila porque son demasiado deliciosas.
Yo no podía dejar de comprar mi Cheese cake de fresa, aunque hay saborea deliciosos como oreo, o mora real (una paleta de mora rellena de crema real), o parchita con leche condensada, flips, pie de limón, y muchos sabores tropicales, hay uno de limón con hierbabuena que es muy refrescante.
The options are numerous, I went at about 6 in the evening and there were still many, there are always people present in the store, you can even make a small line because they are too delicious.
I could not stop buying my Strawberry Cheesecake, although there are delicious flavors like oreo, real blackberry (a blackberry popsicle filled with real cream), or partita with condensed milk, flips, lemon pie, and many tropical flavors, there is a lemon with mint that is very refreshing.
