El pasado fin de semana decidí hacer algo diferente para poner en la mesa y al salir al mercado me enamoré de un repollo bien fresco y otros vegetales, lo que me hizo recordar una receta que mi mamá hacía en casa cuando yo era más joven: "Repollo relleno con carne molida y vegetales". A continuación, mostraré los ingredientes que utilicé y cómo elaboré esta deliciosa receta.

Last weekend I decided to make something different to put on the table and when I went out to the market I fell in love with a nice fresh cabbage and other vegetables, which reminded me of a recipe my mom used to make at home when I was younger: "Stuffed cabbage with ground beef and vegetables". Below, I will show the ingredients I used and how I made this delicious recipe.

Lo primero es separar las hojas de repollo con mucho cuidado para que no se quiebren y luego colocarlas en un recipiente.
The first thing to do is to separate the cabbage leaves carefully so that they do not break and then place them in a bowl.
Paso a picar todos los ingredientes: ajo, cebolla, ají, tomate y zanahoria.
Then I chop all the ingredients: garlic, onion, chili bell pepper, tomato and carrot.
Cuando todo esté bien picado, coloco una pequeña porción de aceite en la olla, lo caliento y agrego primero el ajo. Cuando está bien dorado, incorporo la cebolla, el ají y el tomate.

Mientras la carne molida se termina de cocinar, lavo las hojas de repollo con agua caliente y una porción de vinagre, las escurro bien y las dejo listas.

Ya todo está listo para rellenar las hojas de repollo. Coloco dos cucharadas de la carne molida con vegetales en la hoja de repollo, la doblo para que quede lo más cerrada posible y la voy colocando en la esquina de la olla para que se vaya cocinando en la salsa. Repito la operación hasta rellenar todas mis hojas de repollo, tapo la olla, pongo la hornilla a fuego lento y espero a que los repollos estén listos.
Now everything is ready to stuff the cabbage leaves. I place two spoonfuls of the ground beef with vegetables on the cabbage leaves, fold it so that it is as closed as possible and place it in the corner of the pot so that it cooks in the sauce. I repeat the operation until all my cabbage leaves are filled, cover the pot, put the stove on low heat and wait until the cabbages are ready.
Pasados 20 minutos, pincho con un tenedor y si entra fácil está listo.
After 20 minutes, prick with a fork and if it goes in easily, it is ready.
Se puede acompañar con arroz blanco, plátano o pan para no dejar ni una gota de esta rica salsa.
